Fans of The Walking Dead should be familiar with the sight of actor Steven Yeun bloody and beaten. His latest film, much like the hit TV series, sees him contending with the aftermath of a destructive virus. Instead of bringing on a zombie apocalypse it results in deadly corporate warfare in Mayhem, hitting theaters, alongside VOD + Digital HD November 10th.
Derek Cho (Steven Yeun, “The Walking Dead”) is having a really bad day. After being unjustly fired from his job, he discovers that the law firm’s building is under quarantine for a mysterious and dangerous virus. Chaos erupts throughout the office as the victims of the disease begin acting out their wildest impulses. Joining forces with a former client (Samara Weaving, “Ash vs Evil Dead”) who has a grudge of her own, Derek savagely fights tooth and nail to get to the executives on the top floor and settle the score once and for all.
Glenn was one of my favorite characters on The Walking Dead and it’s good to see Steven Yeun finding success after the show. I’m sure Mayhem will be intense based on the trailer and the fact it comes from director Joe Lynch. He directed Everly starring Salma Hayek which has some of the most gruesome scenes I’ve even seen in a film before. Joe Lynch does not pull punches. Check out the trailer for Mayhem below.
