Stephen King is the first person who comes to mind when you think of horror writing. The prolific author has found success not only on the page, but on the big screen as well. Look no further than this past weekend’s success of It, which broke numerous box office records. Starring Carla Gugino and Bruce Greenwood, the film examines what happens when a married couple try to reignite their relationship. What starts as a kinky sex game goes terribly awry, with Gugino handcuffed to a bed figuring out how to survive. Fending off rabid dogs and reliving childhood trauma are just some of the things her character must overcome to escape her predicament.
